The Asia Pacific Center for Ecohydrology held a meeting on 10-11 April 2017 in Bogor attended by the Director and Staff of APCE, opened by the Director of APCE, Dr. Ignatius DA Sutapa. The meeting aims to discuss the strategic plan of APCE 2017-2021, at the opening Dr. Ignatius Sutapa conveys that the APCE strategic plan on IHP Phase VIII will end in 2021 that can integrate with the vision and mission of APCE and government programs.
APCE as an international institution is in charge of running water programs in Asia Pacific that have been set by UNESCO, IHP, SDGs and adding aspects of human culture on three aspects of other ecohydrology approaches such as hydrology, ecology, and ecotechnology. The program will be supported and run by the four Board of Divisions of the Asia Pacific Center for Ecohydrology (APCE) namely Division of Research Coordination, Division of Information System, Capacity Building Division of Training and Workshop, Division of Public Awareness.
